Chronology of cameras Pentax
The general form of the PC35 AF resembles many compact cameras from the mid-80s. Although it seems very outdated nowadays, it wasn't the case back then, when angular style was prevalent. Think of the Renault 9.
It's a non-motorized autofocus, often sold in a kit with an accessory motor. This attaches to the side of the camera, covering the shutter button, having one of its own.
Contrary to its appearance, this camera isn't entirely plastic. For example, the back is metal.
Its lens is very good; there's little vignetting. Its f/2.8 aperture is advantageous. Exposure is very good.
There's a button on the cover for backlighting (+1.5 stops).
In 1988, it was sold for 1250 francs without the motor.
This model would evolve into a version with an integrated motor, the PC35 AF-M.
